Motorhome parking proposal for Stonehenge
English Heritage Trust, the charity managing our National Heritage buildings such as Stonehenge, Dover Castle, and Tintagel Castle, have recently asked Wiltshire’s Council for permission to change Stonehenge's current temporary coach park to a permanent one.
Changes include the alteration of the current coach park so that its capacity can accommodate 53 large coaches and 26 motorhomes.
With the new plans, motorhomes will be able to stay in Stonehenge’s coach park overnight and be provided with fresh water and a disposal facility.
Should you wish to support English Heritage’s application to Wiltshire’s Council your comments must be submitted by Thursday 2 June 2016.
