Job Summary:
We are seeking an organised Automotive Service Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the admin tasks within the service department, including booking appointments, managing customer communication, advising on repairs and costs, ensuring accurate invoicing and payments and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Answer telephones and greet customers, providing excellent customer service.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service diary.
- Prepare repair orders and ensure accuracy of information.
- Process invoices and payments, maintaining accurate records.
- Liaise with technicians and parts department to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- Maintain customer records and update information as needed.
- Assist with warranty claims and other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Placing orders for parts that are required.
Qualifications:
- GCSEs including Maths and English; preferred.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in an automotive service environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office.
- Knowledge of automotive service procedures and terminology is a plus.
